Finding your Menus
You have complete power over your menus. Here’s how to change them:
From the Dashboard, hover over Appearance and click Menus.
There is a dropdown on the top of this page containing all menus on the site.
Choose the menu you wish to edit and click on the gray Select button.
Moving Pages on the Navigation Menu
Locate your item in the menu and simply drag and drop it to another section on your menu.
We encourage you not to add any additional menu items to the top level or indent a third-level item. All existing and new items should be placed under the current main level items. Adding items to the top level or indenting to a third level may require custom CSS to ensure your site correctly displays the new menu items.
Once you’ve made your changes, click Save Menu.
Adding New Navigation Menu Items
To add new items to your navigation, simply select an item from the areas in the left, and click Add to Menu.
Once your new item is added at the bottom of the list, you can drag and drop it in the correct location on your menu.
Once you’ve made your changes, click Save Menu.
Removing Navigation Menu Items
When editing a menu, click on the down arrow in the top right corner of the box for any item that you want to remove.
Click the red link to remove the item.
Once you’ve made your changes, click Save Menu.
Advanced Menu Item Options
If you are looking for additional menu item options you can expose them using “Screen Options” at the top of the page.
Link Target will allow you to see the option to open the link in a new tab
Title Attribute will allow you to add additional link information available on hover
CSS Classes will allow you to add available CSS classes to the link. This is for advanced users that know what CSS classes might be relevant to affect the menu item's appearance.
Link Relationship (XFN) will allow you to specify in this box the relationship you share in real life with the author of the page to which you’re linking. This will automatically add a rel=”X” attribute to the HTML code for the link (where X is the relationship you specify). (This is not formatted for every site.)
Description will allow you to add a description to the link in the navigation. (This is not currently available for every theme.)
